About Us

We are a small tree farm and apple orchard located on County Road 24 in Cannon Falls, MN. Our first apple and evergreen trees went in the ground in 1995. Since then we have planted thousands more trees with more going in the ground each spring.

The founder of Cannon Valley Orchard is Jack Lucking, a native to the Cannon Falls area. His son, Nick, has a degree from the University of Minnesota in Environmental Horticulture and is the field manager for the farm.

With his science background, Nick uses Integrated Pest Management or IPM to better preserve the environment. By taking into account daily temperature, light, and rainfall amounts a more accurate picture of pest physiology is painted. A threshold is then determined allowing us to use fewer pesticide sprays with better control. This ensures better product safety for you and a more safe work environment for us.
