Did you know...
- The average apple contains ten seeds
- A seed is contained in the star shaped structure called a carpel of which there are five

- If you plant an apple seed it will not grow true to type, that is a Honeycrisp seed will not grow to be a Honeycrisp tree

Proper Storage of Your New Fruit
- Keep your apples in the refrigerator at approximately 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Leave the apples in the bag we packaged them at the orchard as it was specially designed to keep them fresh.
- Apples love high humidity, 90% RH or better. Because most homeowner refrigerators do not go this high, place a moist paper towel in the bag if they are to be kept for a long period of time.
